FUNNY TO REMEMBER

One weekend I went for a walk around downtown Lisbon and I discovered this bike in a window...And suddenly came to my mind the time that I tried to learn how to ride it... I was thirty five and on vacations abroad asked a friend to lend me and my son two bicycles for us to learn how to ride it. On my first attempt I landed on the rose bed that my friend so tenderly grew on a extremely cold climate. Needless to say I still don't know how to ride it.... My son learned it at first attempt!!!!

THING I LEARN FROM LIFE

...And I wonder how many seconds have I lost for being too coward to risk to change and suffer the results in case of failure... WHAT A LOST!

MOTHERLY LOVE AND RELIGION

I am not (God forgives!) a very religious person (never were!) and as time , life, and some knowledge acquired, I lost more ~ and more that religious feeling. But my most loved son is Godson of Saint Anthony of Lisbon (Padova?).... And during my trip to Italy I really wanted to pray for him at Padova Cathedral...And spite my religious doubts I was overwhelmed over the beauty and grandeur of that Chathedral... May St.Anthony forgive my religious doubts and listen to my prayers. In that environment all prayers are really felt and full of meaning!

GOING TO THE MARKET

In Venice all life is done (and depends) on gondolas and and canals! Just like this market that sailed in to a "watter" street after sundown...
What a marvelous feast it was for my amazed eyes!!!

...AND SUDDENDLY IT'S BACK AGAIN...

Seems it was yesterday, but Christmans is back again! We can feel it on the streets,  at the windowshops, and spit the so well known crisis, even on the faces of people passing bye... Like every year since I know myself... THE MAGIC IS BACK FOR A WHILE!
